Last Updated: March 6, 2026
Welcome to Serql. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Serql website (serql.io) and its associated software-as-a-service platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Serql is a data analytics platform designed to connect with Google Search Console (GSC) to provide enhanced reporting, classifications, and trend detection. The Service is currently in a beta phase and is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future, at which point you will be notified and given the option to subscribe.
2. Account Registration
To use Serql, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You may not share your account credentials with others.
3. Google Search Console Data
By connecting your Google Search Console account, you grant Serql read-only access to your GSC data via Google OAuth. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to authorize this access. Serql will only fetch and process this data to provide the Service to you. We do not and cannot modify, delete, or write data back to your Google Search Console account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service.
- Use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to access or interact with the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
5. Share Links
The Service allows you to create shareable public links to specific reports. You acknowledge that anyone with the link can view the data contained in that report without logging in. You are solely responsible for managing these links, deciding what data to share, and revoking access when appropriate.
6. Intellectual Property
Serql retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all underlying software, design, logos, and trademarks. You retain all ownership rights to your personal data and the GSC data you connect to the Service.
7. Beta Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is currently in beta. It is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serql and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we will delete your connected data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
